miss hughes is a professional artist and designer. she was born and raised in the windy city. she's lived in ny, minneapolis, and sf in addition to chicago. tedda currently resides in san francisco with her husband and daughter. she has studied art and culture formally and informally in pakistan, india, germany, france, mexico, england, greece, spain, and denmark.
her most recent travels include brussels, hungary, and romania in search of rare paintings by heironymus bosch.

tedda graduated from top-rated carleton college in northfield, mn. there she studied studio art and psychology and was awarded a mellon fellowship. post-carleton she had her first design experience studying millinery under tracy watts of tracy watts nyc. tedda has worked with young children for the last eight years in addition to her artistic pursuits and has a trend background from her days in corporate america. today she shows her paintings, sculptures, and other artwork in exhibitions around the bay area and designs clothing for little ones which she sells online and in boutiques. she loves american made organic cotton as well as fusing love of art with the cozy feeling working with kids' clothing.
